Description

A race is started automatically every 2 minutes and everyone can /join. We disable vehicle collisions during the race so there is no chance of being rammed by another player. Some races include a special map made of objects. Each race uses a single vehicle model such as a car or boat. The first 3 players to cross the finish line win some money. The winner also gets an increase in their "races won" stat. The fastest racer in each race also gets a place on the live leaderboard.

Everyone will be able to create races using the GX Player Worlds feature. Once a player joins their player world (/myworld) they will have the ability to bring up the race editor and create a race.

  • Name Name the race.
  • Derby or No Collision Choose if the race has vehicle collision enabled or disabled.
  • Autofix Choose if the car has godmode or destroyable.
  • Select an Object Set Choose to load an object set.
  • Select a GX Function set Choose to load or create a gx function set.
  • Create the path Create the path using checkpoints.

The creators name is automatically saved on the race file data.

Race Features

The GX Function feature will allow a more versatile racing experience. By merging the 2 systems racers will be ables to switch vehicles mid race, allow foot race, change the checkpoint type mid race, enable or disable vehicle collisions, enable or disable auto fix and trigger any actions (GX Function#Actions) to create a profound and creative gaming experience.

Race Queuing

Races can be queued by voting for the next race. To vote a player must contribute GXT. 1 GXT = 1 Vote.

Capital Democracy

A player may submit as many votes as they would like. Each vote costs 1 GXT to submit. Races containing votes are queued in order of most votes to least votes.

The GXT submitted towards the race are distributed to the top winners and the creator of the minigame. The first GXT goes to the creator, the second to the first place winner. Then it circles back to the beginning. The next iteration includes the creator, winner and the second place contestant. The next iteration then includes the 3rd place winner.

For example if 9 votes were cast. The creator gets 3 GXT, the winner gets 3 GXT, 2nd place gets 2 GXT and 3rd place gets 1 GXT.
